Renovation & Rehabilitation
We have performed renovation and rehabilitation projects in a number of contexts. We understand the ability to enhance what already exists and have the expertise and experience to facilitate construction activities with minimal impact to the Owner’s ongoing operations.  In addition, SCMC has also worked on emergency projects such as the Rehabilitation, Elevation and Mitigation (RREM) program supporting the Hurricane Sandy rebuilding efforts.

Our experience in demolition includes the removal of concrete industrial structures, and addressing environmental hazards unique to particular projects.

Our experience in Federal projects have ranged from small ship habitability projects to large scale design-build engagements. SCMC provides construction management services from preconstruction through commissioning. From the inception of design, SCMC is developing project and overall plan requirements. This includes analysis of constructability, i.e. availability of materials and labor, time requirements for procurement, and other factors related to construction costs. SCMC develops and manages the construction schedule by staging the construction trades in the most efficient and logical order. By effectively managing the three project components –schedules, budgets, and safety – SCMC consistently delivers high quality projects to its clients.
